Liberty Center Public Library completed a renovation project in Summer, 2017. The project consisted of a 3,200 interior renovation, including an addition of new flexible community space, including a fireplace. The project also added a new circulation desk, new staff work spaces, a new public meeting room with separate entrance, new adult area with reading space, redesigned children’s area with reading space, redesigned young adults’ area and study space. During the renovation, new lighting and HVAC systems were installed, along with new flooring, and wall and ceiling finishes. The new space creates an open and inviting environment that honors the past and encourages community.
