Jerry Overmier

Mr. Overmier, a Principal and with the firm since 1987, has over 39-years of
experience and is active in the design, development and management of projects. He holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering from ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, IN, and is a Registered Architect in Ohio. Jerry has special interest and expertise in the preservation, rehabilitation and restoration of historic structures, and professional affiliations include the State of Ohio Architects Board, the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc. (BOCA), and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Mr. Overmier is an active member of the Defiance community and local organizations. He is a current member and past President of the Defiance Rotary Club, as well as a member of the Defiance Area Foundation, presently serving on the Foundation Grants Review Committee. Past commitments include Chairman of Main Street Rehabilitation Board of Review, appointee to the Mayor’s Design Review Board Commission and Main Street Design Committee, a member on the United Way of Defiance County Community Impact Team, and a Board of Director member for the Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce.
